Marathon House

GMW Architects, 1960
Building type | Marylebone Road, NW1

Photos taken April 2010.

Marathon House was originally designed as an office building and was the headquarters of the Castrol Oil Company. It was converted into flats in 1998.

It was the first example of a fully glazed curtain wall in the UK and was strongly influenced by the Lever Building in New York.
